1994 A symbolical portrait of Nelson Mandela, titled 'Rebirth', earns her the United Nations Art and Philatelic Award, whereby she joins the ranks of Miro, Chagall, Dali, Warhol, Vasarely and others.

For the past few years she has been a regular contributor to the Greek Newspaper: ‘Hellenic News’. Recently she has more narrowly focussed her articles to: ‘What Inspires the Artist’ and 15 Chapters have been published so far.
