Project Description

REFUGE

During the heat of day, the streets of the labyrinthine Medina, which are usually thronged, grow desolate.
This solitary, ill-treated mule, elicited my sympathies when both of us sought refuge from the stinging rays of the midday sun. Our obscure position, around a corner in the gloomy but cool passageway, suggested that he was not only avoiding the searing heat but that he was seeking refuge in obscurity, by trying to conceal himself from ruthless exploit.
